Porsche Design’s 50th year anniversary just got more radical Giving an ode to five decades of Porsche Design, the Manila studio joins the commemorative anniversary with a special event at Okada Manila last July 20, 2022. Guests were welcomed with a display of reinvented 911s, the model that was debuted by founder Butzi Porsche in 1972.

Porsche Design Manila celebrated the brand’s 50th anniversary at Okada Manila recently, marking five decades of automotive themed luxury lifestyle retail brand and design studio founded by Ferdinand Alexander “Butzi” Porsche, the son of Ferry Porsche, together with his brother Hans-Peter in Stuttgart in 1972.

Brian Poe-Llamanzares, the son of Sen. Grace Poe, will soon be driving for Porsche Design on the race circuit! According to a press release, he is set to participate in the Radical SR1 Cup Philippines, a club racing competition. The development was announced during the 50th anniversary party of Porsche Design Manila. "It is an honor and a privilege to have been given this opportunity thanks to my sponsor and team. I wouldn't have been able to race without their help," he said.

The iconic design studio founded in 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche ("Butzi") in Stuttgart, Germany is now 50 years old. Porsche Design Manila joins in the brand's 50th-anniversary milestone with the announcement of their commemorative collection and a special Porsche car display at the Crystal Corridor of Okada Manila until July 26.
